While the first timepieces imagined were in the middle of last century, it was in 2004 that Dior was able to bring out a piece like none ever seen before it. In 2004, their workshops released the Chiffre Rouge, the incarnation of the masculine universe of the Monsieur\u2019s brand. It reinterprets all of the label\u2019s graphic codes: black, on its rubber bracelet; red, the color of the casing\u2019s tinted glass or a simple punctuation; asymmetry, that is to say, scars. These were chiseled into the bracelet, imagined as a reference to the savoir-faire and identity of Dior Homme. \u201cLuxury is first and foremost simplicity,\u201d said Christian Dior. And what is this watch if not a style with a few complications, subtly uniting technique and elegance? From this asymmetrical architecture emerges the righteousness of its design: a pebble-like volume that attracts the eye as much as the time does.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cAttention to technical performance, a perennial design associated with the formal vocabulary of Dior Homme, an enveloping and fluid volume: Chiffre Rouge offers a rewriting of a timepiece classic.\u201d And today, the collection is being enriched by the Chiffre Rouge C03. Combining an Elite movement for the moon phases, date, and second from the manufacturer Zenith, a metallic grey nacre dial adorned with rose gold, the C03 possesses all the attributes of a great timepiece classic. All while incarnating the spirit of Dior Homme with refinement. For, while this exceptional model is sure to delight its fan base, it\u2019s available only in a 100 piece limited edition. A piece with a unique identity. Unique in its composition harmoniously mixing brushed steel, nacre, and perforated veal leather; identity achieved through its \u201cIrr\u00e9ductible\u201d caliber, an exceptional automatic movement developed by Dior Homme in limited editions and numbered by the prestigious Swiss manufacturer Zenith.
