Upon arriving at Dior’s studio, Raf Simons aspired to one thing and one alone: mixing the label’s traditional rules with a chic purity that he’s been overseeing ever since. With elements of both the future and tradition, the brand is using their Demoiselle sunglasses to bring the past to the present.<\/p>\n

 Just for the summer season, they’re offering sunglasses with a crazy couture allure. From their bold essence escapes all the mischief and softness of the feminine fantasy. Starting with a strong line situated at eyebrow level, the glasses redesign the entire equilibrium of the face. Using precise divisions, they give off a post-modern futuristic aura. The French demoiselle may not be the ingenue she once was, but she still manages to perpetuate the poetry of youth as well as that of the reverie of times past. The retro chic that Simons is reviving here is the same that carries through the rest of his collection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Either colored or pearlized, these styles bring to mind organza or satin, fabrics that fit in perfectly with the brand’s couture allures. Finally, the shades of the sunglasses bear mystically poetic names.
