Here’s a new addition to the iconic Defender range from Land Rover<\/a>, the king of off-roaders. To accommodate large families, Land Rover has just introduced the 130 version of its Defender, a model capable of seating eight people.<\/p>\n\n

the Defender 130 has three rows of seats and also comes with a range of standard equipment, including a 10.25-inch screen with the Pivi Pro system.<\/p>\n\n

The screen can be increased to 11.4 inches for the top-of-the-range models. It is offered with the S, SE, X-Dynamic SE and X trims. A First Edition version will be offered at launch in three exclusive colours: Fuji White, Sedona Red and Carpathian Grey.<\/p>\n\n

The ultimate in luxury, this Defender<\/a> features Cabin Air Purification Plus technology. This means the car is able to filter the air, eliminating bad smells, viruses and nanoparticles. Each row of seats has its own air conditioning system.<\/p>\n\n

With a 34 cm longer rear overhang, the Defender 130 is officially the longest Defender in history. At 5.36 metres in length, this Defender is almost as long as a Bentley Flying Spur. Boot space is huge, with 388 litres without the third row folded down and 1,232 litres in five-seat configuration.<\/p>\n\n

Under the bonnet are two 3.0-litre petrol engines, the P300 and P400. The less powerful version has 300 hp and 470 Nm. <\/p>\n\n

As the name suggests, the P400 delivers 400 hp and 550 Nm of torque. Both engines are micro-hybrid and coupled to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. The V8 engine will not be available at launch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
