Chanel Cruise 2023: Monaco GP, Chanel Tailor & Signatures<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

If the Rocher de Monaco has long been a flagship destination for the Chanel Cruise parades, it is because the city holds a special place in the very history of the house<\/a>..<\/p>\n\n

Already in the 1920s, when Mademoiselle discovered Monaco through Diaghilev\u2019s Ballets Russes, which she financed discreetly\u2026 Coco Chanel contributed to the social and artistic life, which from then on takes up residence in the heart of the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo. <\/p>\n\n

En 2022, apr\u00e8s Karl Lagerfeld, l’actuelle directrice Virginie Viard rappelle \u00e0 elle cet h\u00e9ritage pour la collection Croisi\u00e8re Chanel 2023 Mais elle y injecte le glamour tonitruant du GP de Monaco pour mieux faire vrombir les pi\u00e8ces phares de la maison. In 2022, after Karl Lagerfeld, the current director Virginie Viard reminds her of this legacy for the Cruise Chanel 2023 collection. But she injects the thundering glamour of the Monaco GP to make the house\u2019s flagship pieces roar better.<\/p>\n\n

Among them, the iconic tailor meets the key colors of Monaco and its Grand Prix \u2013 red and white coming, in the abstract weaves of the Lesage house, to marry her with panache.<\/p>\n\n

In a similar register, Chanel\u2019s favourite material, the tweed, is embodied in a fabric woven from images of cars massaged on the starting grid of this mythical stage of F1.<\/p>\n\n

As for accessories, Monaco\u2019s slot bags and other fantasies were reminiscent of the chic playfulness with which Karl Lagerfeld worked on his collections for the house on Rue Cambon.<\/p>\n\n
