The Lacoste Crocodile, Theo Curin, and Inclusiveness<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

For the first time in its history, Lacoste partners with a disabled athlete to design a collection within universal reach, and it is actually a first in history itself!<\/p>\n\n

\u201cThe fact that a brand like Lacoste asked me to set up a collaboration like this shows that things continue to move in the right direction. What I liked was that I was involved in every step of the design process: choosing products, colors, adaptations, etc., and also that it was a universal collection. It is a great pride for me!\u201d said Theo Curin.<\/p>\n\n

The outcome? A collection designed with the quadri-amputee swimmer and Lacoste\u2019s artistic director around the idea of inclusiveness. The Theo Curin collection is inspired from the swimmer\u2019s practice: from the logo to the dressing room, each element is inspired by the life of this exceptional athlete, known for his latest performance: swimming across Lake Titicaca!<\/p>\n\n

It was a joy and an honor to work with Theo on this unique project. He is an inspiration to all of us and his enthusiasm and determination have driven us to new levels of creativity!\u201d said Louise Trotter, Creative Director Lacoste.<\/p>\n\n

For example, the iconic buttons on the Lacoste polo<\/a> have been replaced by pressure, a special attention to detail directly inspired by Theo\u2019s daily life.
