Inspired by the theatrical and oh-so-alluring Nancy Cunard, writer, poet and fashion icon of the 1920s, Anthony Vaccarello said: &#8220;She dressed audaciously ahead of her time &#8211; giving a masculine wardrobe its own non-erasable imprint&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>This approach to fashion resonates greatly with the masculine-feminine grammar of Yves Saint Laurent. who was the first to put women in a tuxedo, to make them sensual and powerful at the same time. He had in fact dedicated his work to ensuring women could reclaim the most beautiful pieces of the male wardrobe.
