Designed thirty years ago by G\u00e9rald Genta, it was then the very first luxury watch to be made of stainless steel. Today, it\u2019s in a titanium version that the chronograph is sculpted: a white ceramic bezel and attached rubber bracelet. Cutting no technical or aesthetic corners, the Tourbillon Royal Oak Concept GMT presents a dial with architectural accents that, upon opening to reveal the cage, offers a glimpse at a tourbillon that is dazzling in its harmony with the casing and the movement.<\/div>\n
But that\u2019s not all; the manufacturer is pushing the limits of movement even more. By incorporating ceramic into the swing itself, Audemars Piguet is able to replace the Calibre 2913 upper bridge with a white ceramic one. The tourbillon\u2019s cage and its 85 parts are literally up for grabs. The end result? Quite simply stunning. The new Calibre 2930 is transformed upon contact with a double symmetry that, from the tourbillon\u2019s bridges to its GMT display, accentuate the dynamic of a bridge with an hourglass look. The generosity of the 44 mm casing takes nothing away from the robust charm of a watch that weighs in at only 0.45 grams.
