Presented in Detroit in January 2017, then again during the Geneva Motor Show in 2017, Lexus LS is the premium class Japanese limousine which can compete with vehicles such as Audi A8, Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 series. <\/p>\n\n
What distinguishes this limousine from its Germans rivals is the self-plugging hybrid engine that allows the car to deliver decent performances and particularly low fuel consumption for a car over than 5 meters long.<\/p>\n\n

On board there is the manufacturer’s hybrid system – a system that combines the 3.5-liter V6 VVT-i, two electric motors for a cumulative power of 359 horsepower. A system known as “Multi Stage Hybrid System” which, according to Lexus, will offer an even better response of the mechanical assembly.<\/p>\n\n
This technology offers therefore a much greater output power when the driver accelerates. The car can go from 0 to 100 km\/h in just 5,4 seconds- this is an astonishing power for a non-sport vehicle such as this sedan… But there is more: Lexus LS can accelerate up to 140 km\/h completely electrically, making the transition between the two engines far more easy.<\/p>\n\n

When it comes to continuously variable transmission, the car gets an improved version of gearbox supported by artificial intelligence that makes it possible to offer more linear and continuous acceleration. It also adapts more easily to the driver, recognizing his driving style.<\/p>\n\n
This LS 500h can also boast the services of the new Lexus Global Architecture-Luxe (GA- L) platform which allows it to take advantage of a lower center of gravity, and better weight distribution between the front and the back (51\/49%) compared to the old LS. <\/p>\n\n

The battery is around 20% more compact and lighter, while still providing the higher operating power.<\/p>\n\n
The previous version was not necessarily at the level of the German trio. It was quickly forgotten so it could be replaced with this new version, more developed in terms of technology and way lighter which presents a new kind of driving comfort. <\/p>\n\n
The LS also presents the Lexus Dynamic Handling System which interfere in the performance of the car by making the breaking system, the steering and elements providing stability work together for the optimal coordination between the front and rear wheels.<\/p>\n\n

The car can also use the second generation of Lexus Safety System + – the installed system which provides us which its double function: advanced safety and assistance system. It should be enough to detect the pedestrians and avoid eventual collisions. <\/p>\n\n
