In addition to swimming and golf, the Polish fashion designer decided to launch a line of clothing that would be entirely dedicated to skiing. 2013: from the archives, Christophe Lemaire\u2019s team has exhumed the traces of this first ski line and decided to update it to be in line with the times. It\u2019s even more fitting with Herm\u00e8s\u2019 theme this year, \u201cChic, le sport\u201d. With the same intentions as 84 years ago, the brand on 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honor\u00e9 has thought up products that are first and foremost just as technical as they are stylish.<\/div>\n<div>When the ageless refinement of Herm\u00e8s adapts to the elegant, restrained aesthetics of that era, the result borders on excellence. A padded, hooded parka made of mustard yellow canvas, printed silk scarves, pants with suspenders made of impermeable veal leather, cashmere knits, or a turtleneck sweater made of second skin cashmere. But the piece that evokes the most emotion is a blouse in stretched, laminated canvas with chestnut-colored leather finishings in a chalk white color. Herm\u00e8s is bringing ultra-chic to the slopes with this ski collection. Goggles and a helmet are also redone in a flawlessly impermeable leather. To create this marvelous marriage of allure and technical craftsmanship, the brand called out to a technical advisor, a mountain guide &#8211; the consulting firm that equips the Ecole de ski fran\u00e7ais.
