It celebrates Guerlain&#8217;s soul, its incredible heritage&#8230;&#8221;, details Violette, the director of makeup creation at Guerlain. <\/p>\n\n<p>It&#8217;s true that this new collection, released around the name Rouge G Legendary Reds, has all the characteristics of your typical heritage line; by reinterpreting three reds that were directly drawn from the house&#8217;s archive, the brand has actually released a part of its history itself. <\/p>\n\n<p>As, in 1828, when Pierre-Fran\u00e7ois-Pascal Guerlain inagurated his first eponymous store, he also proposed the first lipstick in Guerlain history, followed by the Rouge Imp\u00e9rial Guerlain and, in 1925, by the oh-so-poetically named Roi des Rouges, or &#8220;King of Reds&#8221;. <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.icon-icon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Capture-d&#xE9;cran-2021-11-09-&#xE0;-13.54.32.png\" alt=\"rouge guerlain\" class=\"wp-image-59556\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p>So, in 2021, the house offers these same three hypnotic reds, in two finishes that are as elegant as the reds themselves; six reds of legendary glamour in total, derived in matte or glossy finishes.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Yet, there is more chic still; every shade bears the name of its birth year.
