The star of the Salon, which comes as no surprise, was the Mercedes EQE, the little sister of the EQS, the electric flag bearer of the starred firm. In other words, the EQE and EQS are the electric equivalents of the traditional E Class and S Class. <\/p>\n\n<p>The Mercedes EQE is the second concept based on the EVA2 platform, the same on which the EQS is based. This is why one can find some similarities between both these new models, though more subtle than those between the E Class and S Class. Its lines are refined, the black radiator grill comes with an optional star pattern, which conveys a slightly more refined look to this sedan that will compete with worthy adversaries, the list being spearheaded by Tesla\u2019s S Model and BMW\u2019s i4s. Mercedes can also boast about having the best Cx of 0,20, a record in today\u2019s market segment. <\/p>\n\n<p>That said, let\u2019s now take a look at the inside of the car. Once more, one can notice a certain affiliation with the EQS, especially with the presence of the Hyperscreen, with its three integrated screens and its turbine-shaped ventilation system. However, if the EQS proposes this armada of technology, one must note that these are optional at extra costs. Another difference with the EQS is the trunk; since the rear window of the EQE is fixed, the opening is narrower than that of its older sister, which has inherited a hatchback. The 350 EQE version indicates 215 kW of power, which equates to 292 horsepower for a torque of 530 Nm.
