This older sibling of the Birkin, designed by the father of the \u201cCarr\u00e9\u201d scarf and the “Kelly”, is reinforcing the ties that exist between the saddlery universe and artistic creation. Classic, distinguished, sophisticated, the “Drag Up” is the culmination of the savoir-faire<\/em> of the best artisans of leather, steel, gold, and silver working for this design house that, since its founding, has only used unalterable metals at the insistence of Thierry Herm\u00e8s. On the “Drag Up”, the metal forms an H. Two branded clasps mounted on rods: a mark of identity, and a sincere reflection of Herm\u00e8s’ discreet transcendence with the equestrian world.<\/p>\n

The label’s creative director for leather goods\/saddlery – Couli Joubert – is now raising the bar even more; the “Drag Up” is making its big d\u00e9but in the Herm\u00e8s universe this year. Two colors – cinnamon and earth – two sizes, a more sleek, streamlined shape, and a perfect symmetry left over from the bag’s previous incarnation are more than enough to give this little gem a new universality. Even more proof that Herm\u00e8s holds the keys to the loftiest of aesthetic and intellectual values.
