The first essays put online will be those of the German director and writer Alexander Kluge, the Japanese photographer Satoshi Fujiwara, the French director Bertrand Bonello, and Swiss economist Christian Marazzi.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"512\" height=\"343\" src=\"http:\/\/icon-vrai.loc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/unnamed-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23374\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.icon-icon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/unnamed-1.jpg 512w, https:\/\/www.icon-icon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/unnamed-1-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting with Chris Marker&#8217;s radical film La Jet\u00e9e, Prada invited these filmmakers, artists, intellectuals and academics to collaborate on this idea of \u200b\u200b\u201cphoto novel\u201d, the very words of Chirs Marker.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cFinite Rants\u201d project takes up the socio-cultural dimension of Chris Marker&#8217;s work to apply it to our times. Indeed, the Prada Foundation&#8217;s \u201cFinite Rants\u201d project is also based on the theory of this director of avant-garde. For him, the cinematographic essay or the video serves the freedom of creation, the complexity, the reflexivity, the crossing of cinematographic genres and the transgression of linguistic conventions.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project \u201cFinite Rants\u201d aims to explore the versatility of the genre of cinematic testing &#8211; with a radical Chris Marker&#8217;s aim. By creating, editing and post-producing raw visuals, the artists who worked on the Prada Foundation project sought to express personal visions and poetics.
