By starting with the idea of tomorrow\u2019s working population, she imagined the \u201cSkype Look\u201d, specially created for a new generation of deciders. Since there will henceforth be less direct or formal contact, this woman at the head of Fendi\u2019s creative division is bringing a casual flair to the classic suit. Introduced on a runway made of black and white marble, meant to echo out to Fendi\u2019s HQ in Rome, the Spring\/Summer 2018 collection played with aesthetics of the 50s and the 70s to project male classics into an off-beat vision of the future.<\/p>\n
In this future, chief executives have fallen from traditional hierarchies, while tastes and traditions are more towards brighter suits than in the past. This key piece plays with trompe-l\u2019oeil motifs that may not be evident upon first glance.
