In 1933, Ren\u00e9 Lacoste, nicknamed \u201cthe Crocodile\u201d by the American press for his tenacity on the courts, revolutionized the sportswear world by creating the Lacoste L.12.12 polo. The Lacoste L.12.12 polo was born from necessity before becoming the icon of a brand, of a sport, and a symbol of French elegance.<\/font><\/p>\n

Today, the brand has chosen Novak Djokovic to incarnate the values of fair play, tenacity, and elegance. Novak Djokovic is thus becoming the new Crocodile. Lacoste even developed a line of eponymous clothing for him. These garments were specially designed to accompany the champion during the four Grand Slam tournaments. This elegant and casual style as well as inventiveness fits perfectly with the brand\u2019s DNA. Each piece in the collection was created with materials chosen for their quality and performance. The details were made for comfort: ergonomic stitches avoid uncomfortable rubbing, while the cuts bring ease to the movements.
