Herm\u00e8s is introducing a new range of refinement by imagining an upholstery collection as captivating as it is functional – adapted to exterior use to live outside and dress up terraces, poolsides, and boats. Without every under-exploiting the impressive capabilities of their workshops, Herm\u00e8s plays with codes, weavings, and fabrics to bring outdoor furniture to the next level, bringing their artisans to work on unique materials in the meanwhile.<\/p>\n
Resistant to light and humidity, to enclosure and friction, these new Outdoor fabrics bring an out-of-the-ordinary fantasy to home aesthetics. Within a game of motifs and graphic designs, prints and jacquards, the palette chosen allows for four different color harmonies: Atlantique, Terracotta, \u00c9meraude, and Sable. These shades imbue the fabrics to bring contrast as well as warm and natural notes. For the first set-up, consisting of bayadere one-point perspective and tessellation, voluminous objects are able to be recreated in two dimensions.<\/p>\n
Without a vanishing point, it respects parallels to preserve shapes, volume, and depth. This is how designer Anamorph\u00e9e was able to imagine Herm\u00e8s in one-point perspective. The result: broad, colorful stripes that will no doubt enliven any exterior. In the second, Terre d\u2019H and Mini circuit 24 jacquards play with shapes and a contemporary graphicness imagined by Philippe Mouquet. Finally, Horizon semi-plain twills and Rivage canvas play with outdoor tessellations inspired by tie designs.
