For the first time since his arrival at the head of the brand\u2019s creative direction, one of the most intrepid designers of his generation is putting his own personal cybernetic touch on Louis Vuitton\u2019s identity. Luxury is now becoming urban. Brought into a neo-metropolis, the future imagined by Nicolas Ghesqui\u00e8re is a fascinating one: this futuristic look feels uncannily real and is accentuated by galactic motifs that opt for grays and blues, just like the cosmos. On these conquering silhouettes, Ghesqui\u00e8re firmly establishes the LV monogram, affixed onto leather jackets and blouses. Indeed, Spring\/Summer 2016 will be crafted of leather and metal at Louis Vuitton.<\/div>\n<div>Conquering, dynamic, and incredibly sensible, the silhouettes that went down the runway last week play with the contrasts and superpositions that are so near and dear to Nicolas Ghesqui\u00e8re, while supple and non-agressive leathers bring the LV look towards a very avant-garde pragmatism. This is how the looks free themselves from the constraints of femininity. The silhouettes indeed have an androgynous aspect to them, with men\u2019s jackets, pants, and fluid bermuda shorts all making an appearance. Just like each season since his arrival, Ghesqui\u00e8re updated Louis Vuitton\u2019s iconic pieces upon contact with his crazy-cool flow. For next season, the LV mini trunk imagined last year will be presented in a nano version, extremely portable and with newly curved edges. Made of grained leather, either decorated or non, the Louis Vuitton nano trunk is rounding off its corners; its a brand new fantastic shape that can be toted around with a corresponding handle.
