With a desire to play with the joys of color, or just the joys of fashion actually, Burberry\u2019s creative director signed off on a collection that is like an idealized vision of an English summer. Earth tones, oversized calligraphies, letterings, large insects, and birds crisscrossed their way down the Fashion Week runway in London. Bailey dug these illustrations out of old ornithology and entomology tomes to hand print them on authentic British fabrics.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And for the first time in the history of the trenchcoat, each trench has its own color, its own motif, and its own approach to becoming an icon. The essential trenchcoat is thus modernized by natural designs and lively and powerful colors. This brand new breed of poetry is incarnated in the tulle belts, able to be nonchalantly attached like a floral bouquet. The result? Ultra-desirable coats in neon colors with matte finishes.
