It\u2019s said that Peter Dundas took inspiration for his Fall\/Winter 2015-2016 collection from his time spent watching the stars. It\u2019s no doubt for this reason that he declared it to be a \u201cvery personal collection\u201d. Indeed, from way up there among the brilliant orbs and the mysterious Milky Way, Dundas managed to come up with prints where black and white mix with color – a color inherited from his childhood memories where his mother, a famed violinist, was perpetually dressed in shimmering get-ups. And so, without straying from the 70s spirit that hovered over last winter, Pucci\u2019s creative director is dressing up his women in enrapturing prints.<\/p>\n
Psychedelic, it comes off as something straight out of Alice in Wonderland. The prints are worn from head to toe, even on thigh boots. The bright and shimmering colors come together on extra-long pieces; when the Pucci woman continues to dare, she forges her path with a strut in her step, invulnerable. Within these geometric prints and this kaleidoscope of colors, a certain hint of aristocracy remains; but it\u2019s a very Pucci-esque aristocracy, characterized by vaporous fabrics and wide-legged high-waisted paints.
