Inspired by the Italian automotive concept of \u201csuperleggera,\u201d Olivier Polge, CHANEL\u2019s in-house perfumer, has created a reimagined version of the classic Allure Homme Sport. The idea at the heart of this composition? Strip away the excess to keep only the essential, just like a lightweight sports car for better performance. The concept of \u201csuperleggera\u201d is applied to perfumery here for the first time. This term, which means \u201csuper light\u201d in Italian, conveys that the lighter an object is, the more powerful it becomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olivier Polge transposed this philosophy to the fragrance, removing the heavy elements to create something new around the iconic Allure Homme Sport by Chanel. It was a work on the subtle balance between lightness and intensity.<\/p>\n\n\n

For Allure Homme Sport Superleggera, Olivier Polge did not seek to transform everything but rather to refine every detail of the original formula. The overall effect is akin to an idling engine\u2014an undeniable power that seems to vibrate beneath the skin\u2019s surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To maintain the connection with the original, Polge kept the sporty spirit of Allure Homme Sport while adding a touch of modernity. The original fragrance, with its powdery and amber notes, has been rebalanced with lighter and more vibrant raw materials. The rounder woody notes have been replaced by lighter woods such as cedar, and a touch of patchouli has been added to enhance the fragrance\u2019s energetic dimension.<\/p>\n\n\n
