A true Parisian institution, Maison Kayser<\/a> began its history 25 years ago, at 8 rue Monge, in the heart of the 5th<\/sup> arrondissement of Paris. <\/p>\n\n

Son and grandson of a baker, \u00c9ric Kayser decided to take up the family torch and the heritage of the French baking tradition – working with sourdough bread adapted to contemporary demands and tastes. <\/p>\n\n

Between tradition and modernity, Kayser has established itself as a benchmark in terms of quality and constantly renewed know-how. Forgotten in the 20th century in favour of yeast, liquid leaven – a mixture of water and flour that is regularly refreshed – is nevertheless the original fermentation agent in the history of baking. Once again this season, S\u00e9bastien Senaille, the House’s executive pastry chef, has come up with artisanal ice cream recipes, without colouring agents or preservatives, based on traditional flavours: vanilla, chocolate, coffee or pistachio! The ingredients, carefully selected, are just like the House – quality! Cream and milk from Touraine, home-roasted fair trade coffee from Richard, chocolate from the Ivory Coast with a minimum of 65% cocoa and pistachio paste from Italy – the birthplace of traditional Gelato<\/em>! <\/p>\n\n

For those who prefer sorbets, the flavours and colours are also there! Composed of 90% fruit and 10% natural sugars, the lemon, mango or raspberry sorbets are sure to refresh the palates of even the hungriest of gourmets without the guilt! <\/p>\n\n
