Swearing its loyalty to the original style, the timepiece reuses every last little ambition of the Reverso 1935. While the shape remains the same, Jaeger-LeCoultre\u2019s workshops, pushed by the founder\u2019s spirit of innovation, consecrated their savoir-faire to propel the Reverso 1931 Grande Seconde Centrale back into the here-and-now. New dimensions, a two-stage dial in a circular position, and an unchanged casing make for a timepiece that\u2019s stuck between two times.<\/div>\n<div>The Reverso 1931 Grande Seconde Centrale will grace the wrist in a brand new size: with no ostentation nor exuberance, this watch is bound to be lived out in an elegance that\u2019s made for daily life. Particularly pleasing, the aesthetic sophistication has been created as a direct descendant of the historic piece. The Grande Reverso 1931 Seconde Centrale is available in a grey gold casing &#8211; a casing that subtly contradicts the black alligator leather bracelet. And black is just its color! In 2015, the Reverso collection is reconnecting with the depths of black to bring this creation into a retro vein that, to respond to the needs of the present century, is now equipped with an automatically rewinding movement. On the opaline dial, as if to set the dark background ablaze, the index, numerals, and hands are detached on a more powdery note. Moreover, the central second puts on a refined show while the counter refracts the color of the indexes and the hours.
