Dior is setting up shop at Harrods ! French elegance is permeating the high temple of British luxury : for an entire month, the front windows of the department store will house the brand’s pop-up store. Rendering homage to the British icons that have shaped the brand, Raf Simons is installing an exclusive collection of couture, perfume and makeup built around the mythical colors of the Windsor kingdom.
This veritable exhibit is just the occasion for Dior to get us to (re)discover its mythical fragrances, J’adore and Miss Dior, as well as to launch new ones : Gris Montaigne, created by the brand’s perfumer François Demachy around notes of Calabria bergamot, Turkish rose, patchouli, Sambac jasmine, and woodland moss, will be unveiled. In the makeup department, cosmetics and gloss palette Claridge’s 48 evokes the day that Miss Dior, the first fragrance launched by the couturier, was unveiled within the celebrated London palace. The powder My Lady shows off the silhouette of the Lady Dior, the mythical bag created for Princess Diana. As for couture, bags and wallets are getting dressed up in tartan, while the Diorissimo bag is seeing life through green-coloured glasses. Dior is having fun reinterpreting the emblematic shades of the celebrated fashion temple.
