Uniqlo partners up with Jeff Koons to release an original collection of tee shirts and hoodies around the artist’s iconic works.
Uniqlo and Jeff Koons: A Fun and Graphic Collection
By taking as basis not the canvas but the iconic UT tee from Uniqlo, Jeff Koons, the do-all artist, initiates an original line of artful pieces. Trailblazer for Kitsch Pop Art, familiar with photography, sculpture and painting, the name of Koons does not need presenting, to the image of his grand sculptures, such as Balloon Dogs, Rabbit or Seated Ballerina.
Speaking of which, five of these iconic sculptures will be printed on the Uniqlo UT tees.
John C. Koons also made his own comments about the collaboration: “I really enjoy the way Uniqlo addresses my generation but also the younger ones. I hope this collaboration will allow people around the world to connect to one another and that art will bring purpose to their daily life.”
Available from October 18th 2021, the Uniqlo Jeff Koons UT collection consists of eight tees and hoodies that make Jeff Koons’ art wearable on the daily.
