Trees are exceptional because they symbolize eternity, capturing the forgotten history of humanity within their bark… Before man, there was the sky, the earth, the tree: a powerful reminder of mysticism and poetry. From its wood emanates many an odor, a memory, or a tale that moves us from season to season. Today, Diptyque is capturing the spirit of Sylvain, God of the Forest, with an enchanting new candle. For this new sensorial escapade, the brand teamed up with Julien Colombier, a painter who works primarily with the mysterious aura of jungles and forests.
From the brushstrokes of Matisse or Keith Haring to artists that paint with energy and gaiety, Diptyque has often sought to capture the olfactory essence of moments. Within these captivating olfactory or visual artworks, Nature always manages to intervene; that’s indeed where Diptyque procures all of their most noble primary materials, while Julien Colombier took on designing the holder. A universal geometry acts as a pretext for supple or sharp volumes in wintery tones. This poetic contrast will light up the holidays with three scents entitled Sapin, Liquidambar, and Oliban… Available starting in November.
