Tod’s Band – Chapter One: The Wave Attitude. The Italian label surrounded itself with 15 personalities from the worlds of music, cinema, and photography – 15 female personalities each more inspiring than the next. By casting Langley Fox Hemingway, Julia Restoin Roitfield, or Quentin Jones and Sonia Sieff, Tod’s is highlighting 15 young women that have lived out their lives as artists, photographers, models, musicians, directors, without an ounce of compromise. Chapter One can thus be interpreted as a campaign that relies on firsthand accounts from some of today’s creative talents.
Wave Attitude is the attitude of these 15 women of the world, women that put forward their own perspectives on life as well as their own definition of style. Within each of these 45-second short films, made in black and white, each of them illustrates a city, holding a style of the Wave bag that particularly speaks to them. Through this urban landscape, these Tod’s beauties also confide us with their wildest dreams and their daily romances. The Tod’s Band girls are exemplary in that they seem to effortlessly manage a sense of style, a dream lifestyle, and a real personality.
