From Paris to Venice, this mythic train offers a journey imbued with romanticism and elegance. Emblem of the Roaring 20s and its flamboyant style, made famous by Agatha Christie and James Bond alike, this legendary train evokes adventure, excitement, and excellence.
Dating back to the 20s and 30s, the 17 cars – composed of 11 cabins, 3 dining cars, 1 Bar Car, and 2 cars for the personnel and luggage – shine through in shades of blue and gold. These spacious cars were carefully restored and reorganized according to their original style especially for the comfort of their passengers. In the decoration department, we can find noble and ancient materials with Chinese lacquered panels, wooden marquetry, Lalique glass, and more modern touches that fit into an Art Deco style such as in the Bar Car and dining cars. These same dining cars offer high-flying gastronomic cuisine from the talented Chef Christian Bodiguel, who’s been on board since January 1985.
The “3674” Bar Car’s new blue and gold interiors are a reflection of refinement and literally transport guests back to the Golden Age of days gone by. This elegant setting invites passengers to get dressed up in their finest attire. Head Barman Walter Nisi is also offering a new cocktail menu with a brand new selection of caviar, in collaboration with the prestigious brand Petrossian. These flavorful experiences can be explored all while watching the sublime landscapes of Europe go by.
A unique experience and an unforgettable journey back in time can be lived out on board this gem of the railways.
