Beneath the glass dome of the Grand Palais, the house on rue Cambon brought their audience on an intergalactic journey. Inspired by the International Space Station’s current mission, Karl Lagerfeld composed a wardrobe that’s more than modern with silhouettes made for today, but inspired by the voyages of tomorrow. Just as the first trips to the moon are starting to find an audience, the label is offering a Fall/Winter 2017-2018 that’s anything but down to earth.
Taken by this inspiration, the Chanel woman wears sparkling silver boots with a short heel and tights that shine like the Milky Way. These two-tone shoes are reinvented as if plunged into the sky’s infinity. The stellar two-tone Chanel shoe is imagined with the infinite sparkle of sequins with thousands of iridescent reflections – this infinity is full of mystery, with airs of a constellation of diamonds.
