Emilio Pucci as seen by Massimo Giorgetti makes for a subtle, urban, and energetic interpretation of the Tuscan brand’s archives. For his second collection with Pucci, Giorgetti is fusing prints, cuts, and superpositions to arrive at a decidedly geometric line. Within his game of superpositions, the Italian designer is able to dazzle with a Fall/Winter 2016 collection composed like an ode to color.
The silk jersey printed dress takes on a blue extension paired with a light pink that sublimely harmonizes with the vibrant shades of a flamboyant red! On profiles of mountains that look like Cézanne landscapes tinted in surrealist tones, Massimo Giorgetti is able to invent a new motif worthy of Emilio Pucci himself. A number of brushstrokes trace along these imaginary mountains, delighting the eye and turning this piece into an abstract piece of art in one reassuring motion.
