A historic train from Pullman brought 600 guests to Blenheim Palace. This is how Cruise 2017 by Dior kicked off. Set up within the inner hold of the legendary Blenheim, guests were able to discover a sumptuous collection made of pieces that mix the floral essence of British style with the iconic curves of the tailleur-bar and other essentials by Christian Dior’s brand. Among the silhouettes that went down the runway, a belted and polished trench-dress in a shade of black tending towards a dark green attracted all the attention. With zipped pockets and a crew neck, Serge Ruffieux and Lucie Meier are making reference to the type of functional style that Christian Dior loved so.
London wasn’t chosen by accident. This collection, in stores by the end of November, also marks the opening of a new Dior boutique that was inaugurated on June 3rd on New Bond Street. At number 160-162, Peter Marino imagined the brand’s biggest store location in the UK. Even better, “For the first time, the world of Dior is presented in its entirety in one place. From Baby Dior to the home collection, to men’s and jewelry,” assures the architect. For customers, he also imagined larger fitting rooms with a softer lighting sure to offer an authentic and artistic experience!
