In 1959 the iconic heroine of “And God Created Woman”, Brigitte Bardot, ordered a pair of carmine Cendrillon slippers for her role in the film. Soon the Cendrillon model, just like its owner, reached the height of iconic status in shoes and became a symbol of elegance à la Parisienne. The following year, it was Audrey Hepburn’s turn to wear the legendary flats in her movie “Funny Faces”. They would soon become an important part of her closet, on the screen and in her private life. Jackie Kennedy also soon fell for Repetto’s flats – usually sporting them with capris, oversized sunglasses, and a scarf. Nothing more than refined simplicity.

Today, the timeless shoe Repetto remains synonymous with grace and prestige. The brand once again offers, a variation of the inevitable Cendrillon ballerina, in blue, red, beige, leather, suede, patent calf, and continues to fulfill all our desires.
