Like every bag from this former trunker, it’s first and foremost the grace of its artisanship that draws the eye to this new Moynat bag. Beautiful, fluid, and elegant lines effortlessly lodge themselves into your memory through an extremely fine leather. The Réjane Clutch is a playful and soothing reinterpretation of the Réjane, created over a century ago. More pragmatic, its curves were conceived to respond to the needs of the new Moynat woman. The strap is nestled within the different layers of leather without putting so much as a dent in the bag’s external architecture; leaving no trace of it when one decides to carry it by hand. Its delicate, straight lines are a perfect shelter for another pair of straps.
Ramesh Nair imagined curves that are composed like an echo of the feminine silhouette, further underlined by rounded metal clasp, a reedition of the original Art deco piece. It’s conceived to allow the Moynat woman to create and adapt its carrying to a number of situations. The Réjane Clutch offers both a chic or a casual allure in a new version animated by a long shoulder strap. Finally, it’s accompanied by a never-before-seen double strap as well to make for a new, refined posture. And the cherry on top: it’s available in petrol blue, black, paprika, taupe, and a delicious shade of raspberry.
