This affinity is Gucci’s raison d’être. From December 5th to the 8th, the Gucci Paris Masters, an annual show jumping event sponsored by the double-G brand, will take place. Charlotte Casiraghi, the incarnation of Gucci’s spirit in the Forever Now campaign for the last 4 seasons now, is a regular at the show. Also a familiar face: a newly released Gucci foulard each year. For 2013, the silk twill piece is ribboned with the iconic green-red-green stripe. A luxury version of the emblematic 90 cm x 90 cm scarf, this time a stirrup and a horse bit are featured on the Gucci Paris Masters foulard. Its creation is the fruit of a precise and calibered virtuosity, entirely handmade thanks to a watercolor technique, each of the foulards is then manually screenprinted. The edges, made of fine twill silk, are topped off with an artisanal finish made possible through a special Italian technique.

A Gucci pop-up store at the event’s venue will be the only one to sell this scarf dedicated to the most glamorous and exciting equestrian event in all of Europe, a prestigious and world-renowned indoor jumping show. The Parisian stop-off of the Masters Grand Slam Indoor, the Gucci Paris Masters, a showcase of sporting elegance, is only for members of a certain social status. For 4 days, an enrapturing and captivating show will follow the every move of each of the world’s 25 best horseriders. These competitions mix technique and speed, and the 5th annual edition still has no equal for bringing together pleasure and glamour.
