Massimo Girogetti, ex-DJ and self-taught stylist, wasn’t meant to slip under the radar when arriving at Emilio Pucci. This artist behind the brand MSGM came with the intention of reinventing the iconic Pucci brand by bringing it into a new era. With “Pucci Episode One”, Massimo Giorgetti has brought out a Spring/Summer 2016 collection that meets every expectation.
The Emilio Pucci Spring/Summer 2016 runway felt like a burst of freshness, spontaneity, and energy. This entrepreneurial spirit was incarnated in a very segmented adaptation of the mythic Mondrian dress by Yves Saint Laurent. Graphic and literally composed like an engraving of fabrics, this piece reveals another side of Pucci’s creativity… Delightfully in line with the times!
