The Dior Men’s A/W 2022 Collection: Dior Grey, Leopard Print and Bar Jackets

To celebrate the house of Dior’s 75th anniversary, Kim Jones started a conversation with none other than Christian Dior himself!

“I wanted to have a conversation with Christian Dior as the ultimate collaboration”. The current men’s artistic designer has put this collection together as an ode to the classics of Dior couture. From cane work to leopard prints and sweatshirts with floral embroidery inspired by the Miss Dior haute couture dress from 1949, or a slightly more masculine version of the legendary Bar jacket. Kim Jones has managed to bring new life to these iconic classics.

A special mention to the Bar jacket, a signature piece of Dior’s New Look, Kim Jones managed to cut it into a masculine fit, without losing any of its sensuality. By synching the fabric of the jacket at the hips, and making use of raw, contrasting seams, Kim Jones has brought the Bar jacket into the men’s wardrobe for Autumn/Winter 2022. And it doesn’t stop there!

Dior Grey has been at the heart of Kim Jones’ designs – even making it the key colour of his collection.

Leopard print adored by Christian Dior’s muse, Mitzah Bricard, can be found perfectly embellishing the masculine silhouette. A Dior men’s collection that reenergised the signatures of the designer-founder which Kim Jones introduced into new and edgy masculine renditions!
