The history of the iconic Dimantissima motif is anchored in the archives of this brand that boasts a rich heritage. Inspired by the Diamante Canvas – a fabric with a design as exclusive as it is adverbial – the Diamantissima motif is subtle and elegant in that it is the result of precious and scrupulous metalworking. Today, four new pieces are crowning the collection: a necklace topped off by a round pendant and two pairs of contagiously desirable hoop earrings. To create this collection, Gucci used an enameling technique called “Cathedral”, named thus for its kinship with the creation of stained glass window art. This is a brand new method for Gucci Jewelry; individually, by hand, the master artisans craft each piece by delicately introducing the enamel.
On these new variations, the Diamantissima motif espouses a never-before-seen necklace, available in 18 carat rose gold, while the motif becomes remarkably timeless on a delicate pair of openwork earrings. This is modernity and unique design that’s easy to wear. Hanging on the end of a 45 cm chain, the pendant shows off its particularly original curves composed of round and wickedly sensual oval lines. The Diamantissima motif is adopting its most luxurious form yet.
