Her audacity is evident in iconic collaborations with artists such as Salvador Dalí, resulting in legendary pieces like the Lobster Dress and the Shoe Hat.
Today, the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall 2024 collection, titled “The Phoenix,” continues this tradition of reinvention. Daniel Roseberry, true to Schiaparelli’s spirit, views each collection as an opportunity for renewal. “People don’t buy Schiaparelli; they collect it,” he writes, highlighting an almost mythical relationship between the brand’s creations and its clients.
Indeed, the Fall 2024 Haute Couture collection embodies this special connection. Daniel Roseberry, respecting Schiaparelli’s archives, presents bold pieces. Elements such as the Shoe Corset, reminiscent of Dalí’s influences, and embroideries inspired by the “Apollo of Versailles” cape from 1938, are present.
