S.T. Dupont and Casablanca – A Bold and Colorful Capsule Collection

The legendary house S.T. Dupont is teaming up with Casablanca, the most talked-about Parisian label of the moment, for a bold and colorful capsule launching on September 16.

This collaboration represents the meeting of two distinct yet complementary worlds: the timeless elegance of S.T. Dupont, renowned for its luxury lighters and pens, and Casablanca’s sporty freshness, often inspired by tennis aesthetics and antique motifs. Alain Crevet, CEO of S.T. Dupont, perfectly sums up the partnership: “It was a matter of enjoyment with Charaf [Tajer, creator of Casablanca], with our shared love for colors, beautiful things, and, of course, cigars.”

The origin of this collaboration is quite unique: a good meal and a few cigars shared with Michelin-starred chef Akrame Benallal. During a friendly conversation, he suggested inviting his friend Charaf Tajer, which led to the first meeting between the two brands. An idea took root, first resulting in a joint project for the 50th anniversary of the Trinidad cigar line. Charaf Tajer then designed an original humidor, redesigning the Trinidad logo. This successful collaboration was just the beginning

S.T. Dupont, known for its rare but always prestigious collaborations, found the ideal partner in Casablanca. “It was all about this art of living — good food, cigars, the colors of the Mediterranean, and even Cuba,” explains Alain Crevet. This capsule thus joins an exclusive list of collaborations with names like Karl Lagerfeld in 2008, The Row, and more recently Amiri, with a lighter pendant that became a permanent reference in the collection

For Charaf Tajer, this collaboration is above all a story of passion for the craftsmanship and elegance embodied by S.T. Dupont. “My father had one, and for me, it was always the ultimate symbol of the gentleman, of French elegance,” he recalls. “When I was younger, I dreamed of having one for myself, even though I didn’t smoke, just to collect it.”

This long-standing admiration for the French house contributed to making this capsule a very personal project
Among the standout pieces of this collaboration is the marker pendant, an object that was initially in development at S.T. Dupont. Charaf Tajer immediately saw its potential. “It reminded me of the old practice of asking for autographs from your favorite stars — athletes, musicians, whoever — but with a cool and original twist,” he explains. This pendant thus becomes an emblematic piece of the capsule, perfectly embodying Casablanca’s spirit, always seeking unexpected and innovative products.

With this capsule collection, S.T. Dupont and Casablanca invite their clients on a journey as elegant as it is unique, where each piece tells a story of luxury, boldness, creativity, and French savoir-vivre.
