“May this present volume commence in the name of God and the Blessed Virgin”. With these words, Nicolas Ruinart officially founded his eponymous brand on September 1, 1729. Initiated into the secret world of great wines by his uncle, Benedictine monk Dom Thierry Ruinart (1657-1709), author of a number of wise and observant works, Nicolas Ruinart pursued working with ‘bubble wine’ – that day in September 1729, he achieved his uncle’s ambition of making Ruinart the first champagne brand. The monk’s diverse travels throughout Europe allowed him to observe the growing enthusiasm that his wine elicited in aristocratic courts.
For this summer, Ruinart has imagined the Caisse Duo – a practical and elegant case, raw but pure, ideal for transporting the two icons that are Ruinart Blanc de Blancs and Ruinart Rosé champagne. Powerfully aromatic, Ruinart Blanc de Blancs uses all the intact purity of the chardonnay that it’s entirely made of. Ruinart Rosé presents the taste of one of the greatest rosé champagnes in the world. In the color of a rose petal or an orange-yellow, Ruinart champagne lets the fruit of its work express itself to better balance a rare flexibility and consistency. Imagined to bring its precious bottles to the four corners of the earth, the Caisse Duo case what with its ingenious frontal opening system allows easy access to this precious beverage.
