If we immediately recognize a Chanel piece, it is because it is signed with a code specific to the universe of the house. And behind the universe of the house, there was first that of the great Mademoiselle Chanel. Among the totemic signatures that Coco made her own, from the Lion through the Byzantine cross, the beige and the double C, there is also the comet.
True Chanel signatures, the comet, the stars and the constellations are among the symbols of Chanel luxury. And in 1932, when Chanel was the first seamstress in history to enter the world of fine jewelry at Place Vendôme, her ambition was clear: she wanted to cover women with constellations.
