Icon-Icon Opinion :
Since their introduction in 1981, the Vivienne Westwood Pirate Boots have lost none of their cachet, nor have they lost any of their punk aura. Pirate. This was the name chosen by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren for their very first collection to be shown on the catwalk. Designed for Fall/Winter 1981-1982, this collection launched the “New Romantics” movement. A cross-disciplinary movement that, from fashion to music, will literally upset the notions of time and gender!
