Description : The Mayor sofa harks back to Arne Jacobsen’s early days, when he had not created his most famous works but was already experimenting with new forms. While the Egg or the Swan armchair mark the height of Scandinavian modernism in the 1950s, the Mayor sofa harks back to the Danish woodworking tradition and the early influences of German functionalism.
