2022 is a special year forPetrusse: the House celebrates its 25th anniversary! Thus, this new Spring/Summer collection, resolutely responsible and ethical, which reflects the commitments of Petrusse and its desires for freedom, colours and joy.
A new material in the spotlight: Cupro
Research and development are essential to Maison Petrusse in order to always propose an offer in line with its values. Today, everything that can happen in France must happen in France! The linen is harvested, woven, assembled and dyed in France. And, for the first time, Petrusse is able to offer cotton stoles and a jacquard weave made in France in this Spring Summer 2022collection. These products complete the range of silk and linen produced according to the rules of the art in partnership with the best French craftsmen.
But the major innovation of this collection is the arrival of a new material, Cupro. Cupro is a responsible and innovative fibre produced from cotton linter. Fluffy and short, it wraps the seeds of a cotton plant. The waste generated during Cupro’s creation processes is fully recycled, with an overall recycling rate close to 100%. It is also fully biodegradable. Cupro has many qualities: it is an excellent thermo-regulator, anti-perspirant and hypoallergenic.
Because of its treatment, Cupro has a much softer feel than conventional cotton and a silk-like feel. It dries very quickly and is thermo-regulating, making it ideal for summer even on the beach! To be discovered with the Charme stole, available in fushia, sunshine and green.
