The Monaco based group Maya Collection has expanded its collection with the Maya Altitude Méribel — a chalet restaurant where you can taste the sweetness of life of the 3 Valleys!
Maya Altitude: Eat, Dance, Relax
Maya Altitude is situated at 2300m of altitude, at the intersection of the 3 Valleys and it emanates from all the prestige and liveliness of the other establishments of the Maya Collection group.
First, there is the building – Maya Altitude is the meeting of traditional mountain architecture and Tibetan inspiration. Tibetan-inspired decor was entrusted to Hong Kong architect Sylvestre Murigneux, making this chalet restaurant just as inspiring as it is fascinating.
“Sylvestre Murigneux has imagined a peculiar decor, around the theme of the Himalayas, which he has interpreted with modernity by intertwining vibrant colors and natural materials, such as wood, wool or stone. By combining different craftsmanships and contemporary skills, he has created a surprising place where everything blends harmoniously with a real concern for comfort and conviviality”, the establishment notes.
With its breathtaking view over the Alps and Mont Blanc, Maya Altitude offers a luxurious environment to enjoy this timeless experience. Here and there, inside, the senses are stimulated by pottery art while big Swiss bells are hung above the tables, creating a vibrant decoration!
And it is this marvelous chandelier above the main staircase which shows the ultimate taste of Maya Altitude – a chandelier with oak pendants, made by the ornamental sculptor Patrick Blanchard, awarded at the craftsmen competition Meilleur Ouvrier de France…

Created by Stéphane Desprez, Executive Chef of Maya Altitude, in collaboration with the starred Chef Akrame Benallal, the restaurant menu integrates the local aspect of Thai and Savoyard cuisine.
A cross of genres and a combination between cultures and tastes that is rather surprising than different— Maya Altitude restaurant offers the opportunity to (re)discover unexpected flavors!
Two exceptional cooking techniques based on experience are offered — the Tandoor oven or the imposing Charcoal grill which is associated to a maturing cellar for meats…
