Much more than just travel guides, they are real treasure maps that lead you to the most beautiful discoveries: fashion, luxury, literature, dining; nothing is forgotten and the desire to carefully list all the reference institutions is imperative.
Such work is simply probing the soul of each city, with the discovery of unknown places or the rediscovery of forgotten and misunderstood ones. There are is no less than fifty journalists and writers who participate in the project each year. But the City Guides have also become real gems with a scrupulous finish: a chic and colorful design, with a printed leather cover displaying the famous logo of the brand.
The 2013 edition expects to stop this year in Tokyo, San Francisco, New York, followed by Paris and Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Through the lens of director Romain Chassaing, you can discover many famous sites. Each new release is also an opportunity to give voice to a character of the city – a carpenter, a singer, a star of the seventh art… The Louis Vuitton City Guides have become indispensable both for travelers and tourists, but also for the people who live there.
