“I wanted a signature that was based as closely as possible on the female body. You can see her shoulders, her neck, you can touch her, feel her.” With these words and with his fragrances, Jean-Claude Ellena has developed an intimate proposal engaging each woman to espouse the effluviums of this new opus. With this new “olfactory poem”, he seeks to illustrate the novel perfumes so characteristic of the brand, recounting the history of this nascent woman, of her beauty, awakened and revealed, of her skin, inebriated with the light of the rising sun, round, dense, and soft. Jour d’Hermès Absolu seems to melt right into the soft pink light of the morning skies.
This author of odors is reinterpreting the words of a floral bouquet perfume with gardenia as the head note, sambac jasmine for the heart note, and apricot flower mixed with unctuous honey for the base note. This profoundly carnal fragrance accompanies the grace of dawn that each one of us can liberate with a single press. The flask, originally created by Pierre Hardy, keeps with the softness of its design: a square base paired with the roundness of the shoulders of the absolute. The perfume, a supplement to the soul, is closed with a ring of rose gold, enclosing the sensuousness of an emotion that picks from this fragrance the very flower of which dreams are made.
