The gin, alone or in a cocktail, bequeaths in the mouth subtlety and excellence! sophistication

Each distillery has its own way of shaping this piece of history of taste. If this spirit stems from a composition born of monks’ minds, then in the alchemists, this alcohol entered the pantheon of sophistication over the 18th century.

Today, Icon-Icon presents its selection of the world’s best-of gins to surprise your father on Father’s Day. A perfect occasion to taste this spirit!

Let us start with Citadelle’s distillery and two innovative gins. The first one is the Citadelle’s gin, also known as Original. This gin is floral and strikingly mellow. The recipe takes its origins from one of the first gins produced in France to Dunkerque’s Citadelle.

Gins from Citadelle own their exceptional tastes from their production, run in small copper Charentais’s stills, warmed over an open fire. A pure innovation!

A “tailor-made” gin that, since 1996, revolutionises and makes people want to taste again that utterly contemporary spirit.

The second gin bears the name of Jardin d’Été. It is poetic and marvelously balanced thanks to its gradual infusing method. Jardin d’Été Citadelle is a fresh gustative journey. This aromatic spirit blends 22 plants, including juniper berries, orange bark, lemons, yuzu peel, and melon from Charentes.

The distillery described this gin as: “fruity and floral, this new bold and affirmed creation stands out by its personality, as much peppery as minty”.

Good news! You will have the chance to taste gins from Citadelle all season from the new summer rooftop, located at the Terrass Hotel, Le Cabanon Perché!
