A fresh perspective straight out of another world. The Dior So Real take the inspiration for their structured curve from that of pantos, sunglasses that were popular in the artistic and cultural circles of the 40s. A resolutely futuristic yet vintage aura that has today led to a fresh perspective. The sunglasses have an oval shape but are flat on the upper part; a bold design that, extraordinary as it is, makes for a graphic and feminine look. For summer 2014, designer Raf Simons has made the promise of a couture summer, albeit an ever so light and elegant one. With their architectural lines, mirrored or semi-mirrored silver or black glass, the Dior So Real quickly lose themselves in the reflections of the horizon.

With their deconstructed pantos shape, the Dior So Real sunglasses harmoniously mix pure lines and couture spirit. And, for all those who are unimpressed by sunglass marks on their nose, Dior has just the solution: on these glasses, there’s no bridge between the lenses. That’s because these glasses aren’t supported on the nose; they remain in balance thanks to the adjusted branches behind the ears, a thin stem connecting the lenses like a bow on the front. Perfectly espousing the shape of the eyes, the lenses make for a perfectly light frame. Somewhere between heritage and futuristic inspiration, the Dior So Real are anchored in a resolutely contemporary desire. Available in black, tortoiseshell, and silver.
