Since 1908, Converse has never ceased to create legendary sneaker styles like Chuck Taylors, All Stars, Jack Purcells, or One Stars. This collaboration with Fragment Design pays homage to the original One Star sneaker, a skateboard classic dating back to 1974. This latest collection incarnates artist Hiroshi Fujiwara’s spirit of timelessness, quality, and craftsmanship to offer a suede Converse released in two classic colors: white and blue. The sneaker’s design features lightning bolts, emblematic of Fragment Design, highlighted with neon green, while the lunarIon soles offer support and optimal comfort.
Recognized the world over as a symbol of sophisticated, subtle, casual, and irreproachable sytle, artist Hiroshi Fujiwara defines himself as a “cultural DJ” that breathes in the air of time to infuse it back into his unique creations with a streetwear flair. His passion for the skating universe and lifestyle of the younger generations make him a perfect spokesperson for Converse’s legacy through functional and timeless pieces.
This collaboration celebrates nostalgia for the 90s and uses a number of codes from youth culture to offer a limited edition that highlights the craftsmanship and authenticity of this iconic brand.
