An emblematic skate shoe, the launch of the new Converse Cons One Star Pro 90’s is nothing short of an event. By teaming up with skate media FREE, Converse organized a relay race of brand ambassadors running through 5 different cities: Rome, Milan, Naples, Hamburg, and Berlin. The team, composed of the brand’s primary brand ambassadors as well as a few other international talents such as Paul Grund, Keven Rodrigues, and Kenny Anderson dared to hit the road for 2 months to export and explore terrains that no one has ever skated before.
With a Nike Lunarlon interior sole, traction rubber and gusseted tongue, Cons are perfectly adapted to skateboarding. Full of enthusiasm, the team set off to capture the best skating images possible while highlighting the style and functionality of the new One Star Pro 90’s – a style available in four colors and heavily inspired by 90s culture. To get these images, FREE photographers Sam Ashley and skate cameramen Ben Chadourne and James Cruickshank were brought onboard. The result, called ‘The Relay’, is available in print – the videos of these skating champs are online now!
